Google's New App Arts & Culture Brings Hundreds of Museums and Art to Your Phone

   

 Google Arts & Culture, a website and app that promises to give you access to the world’s museums at a click.the company's new Art and Culture app puts the works of over 1,000 museums in your hand.The hub for all things historically and artistically relevant has been given a fresh coat of paint, so to speak. Both the web portal and the app have been overhauled with a new interface, including a more contextual search bar that allows users to hunt for specific articles or pieces.

   Perhaps most crucially, the app now caters to those who want to explore iconic museums and historic sites but can't get there in person -- it now includes 20 Google Cardboard tours including the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, Sicily and a street art walkabout in Rome.
