LG Launches the Stylus 2 Plus in India
LG has brought the newly introduced Stylus 2 Plus mid-range phablet to the Indian market. The phablet comes with a stylus pen with a nano-coated tip that offers greater accuracy compared to the previous stylus pens from LG.
The phablet features a large 5.7-inch IPS Quantum display with 1080 x 1920 Full resolution, which translates to a pixel density of 386 pixels per inch. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core chipset clocked at 1.4 GHz, with the Adreno 505 GPU handling the graphics. In the memory department, the LG Stylus 2 Plus isn’t very impressive for its price, offering just 3GB of RAM and a mere 16GB of built-in expandable storage.
At the back, the phablet includes a 16MP primary camera with an LED flash and support for video recording at up to 1080p Full HD resolution. For selfies, the LG Stylus 2 Plus comes with an 8MP front-facing camera on the front, with a dedicated LED flash. When it comes to connectivity, the phablet comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, and 4G LTE with VoLTE support. The battery inside is rated at 3000mAh and can be removed easily thanks to the polycarbonate build. LG claims the battery can provide talk time of up to 450 minutes in 3G and stand-by time of up to 315 hours on a 3G network. The phablet measures 155 x 79.6mm x 7.4mm and weighs in at 146 grams.
Coming back to the stylus, LG has introduced quite a few new features with the Stylus 2 Plus that make it a more powerful productivity device than its predecessor. Some of these new features include Screen-Off Memo, Pop Memo, and a Calligraphy Pen Mode. It even comes with a Pen Keeper, so your stylus always stays with the device.
The Android 6.0 Marshmallow running phablet has been priced at Rs.24450 in India and will be available in only one color option – Black.
