Reliance Jio's WiFi router, JioFi is now available for Rs 2,899. With this you can connect 10 devices and one through its USB port. It is available in Reliance Digital stores and Dx Mini Stores from where you can get prepaid and postpaid connections. All you need to show is a valid Proof of Address (POA), Proof of Identity (POI) documents and a photocopy along with a passport size photograph.


As per the company, "Once the Customer Acquisition Form and Proof of Address, Proof of Identity and photograph have been submitted, your Jio SIM should be ready for tele-verification within the next 4 hours. You will receive an SMS on your registered mobile number informing you that your Jio SIM is ready for televerification. Your SIM should be activated and ready for use within 1 hour of successful tele-verification."

You have to call 18008901977 from your registered mobile number to activate data. You have to install JioJoin and call 1977 to activate voice.

But is the JioFi worth Rs 2,899?
