Screen Overlay detected solution
Screen Overlay detected on Samsung, OnePlus, HTC after Marshmallow update.
This message appears when you’re running a floating app, and then start a newly installed one, which requests access rights. Floating apps include the chat heads of Facebook Messenger that can appear floating above other apps.
Solution 1:
Force stop or delete your applications that running in background and effecting other apps like,
- Clean Master
- Screen brightness control
- App lock
- Drupe
- DU Batter saver
- Display temperature control
And Samsung users has to turn off One Handed operation.
- Settings> Advanced features > One-handed operation.
Solution 2:
Step One:
Non-Samsung smartphone, follow these steps:
- Open the Settings
- Tap the magnifying glass at the top right
- Enter the search term “draw”
- Tap Draw over other apps
- Alternative route: Apps> [gear icon]> Draw over other apps
For Samsung users:
- Open the Settings
- Then Applications > Application manager
- Press on More > Apps that can appear on top
Step Two:
You will find the list of apps that have permission. Turn all of them off.
Step Three:
Now you can try launching app again and it should work.
