Google VR SDK 2.0 exits beta, now available for developers


Google had announced Daydream its own virtual reality platform in May at the I/O conference. The company has now launched its virtual reality software development kit (SDK) out of beta.


The Google VR SDK 1.0 with support for Daydream is now available for all developers. They can make apps for Daydream-ready phones and headsets. In order to make it easier for developers to develop apps using Google VR SDK 1.0, the company has integrated with Unity and Unreal game engines.
