is Android Nougat 7.0 slower than Marshmallow 6.0?

Google has recently launched Android Nougat 7.0, and it is available on Nexus devices. But after doing speed test, result was not as expected. Yes Android Nougat 7.0 is slower than Marshmallow 6.0.
