LYF Wind 4S with 4000 mAh battery, 2GB RAM launched at Rs 7,699

A new LYF smartphone, named as LYF Wind 4S, has been found listed on LYF website for Rs 7,699. The LYF Wind 4S seems to be the successor to older LYF Wind 4.

LYF Wind 4S features 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 MSM8909 processor, which is clubbed with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 304 GPU. It runs on the Android Lollipop 5.1 operating system. The phone offers 16GB of internal storage and even a 128GB micro SD card slot.

The Wind 4S has a big 4000 mAh Lithium-ion battery, which claims to offer up-to 34 hours of talk-time and up-to 634 hours of standby time on 4G network. The handset sports an 8-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with an LED flash and a 2-megapixel fixed-focus front camera. The camera features include HDR, Face detection, Red-eye reduction, Continuous Shot, ISO, Exposure, White Balance, Anti Banding, Zero Shutter Lag, Touch Up Mode, Panorama, and Digital Zoom 6X.

Besides, the Wind 4S offers Dual SIM, 4G/LTE with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), WiFi Calling, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, MicroUSB 2.0, Light sensor, Proximity sensor, E-Compass, Double Click to Wake, Slide Up to Unlock, Slide Down to launch Camera, Slide Left to Choose App, Slide Right to open Messages, and Standby screen gestures. The handset measures 144.7mmx73mmx9mm and weighs 148 grams. The device comes in three colours- Black, Blue, and Brown.
