Moto Z, Moto Z Play with Moto Mods launching in India today, confirms Motorola
Earlier, we were expecting Moto Z Force which was announced earlier this year along with Moto Z for international markets.
The Moto Z come with LG G5 like modular concept. They have 16 pins on their back panel using which you can attach three types of modules (mods) - a JBL module for better sound output, a battery module or a projector called as Moto Insta-Share Projecto. There are also Style Shells made of premium materials like real wood and leather, or a patterned fabric.
The Moto Z is made of military aircraft-grade aluminum and stainless steel. This 5.2 mm thin has a 5.5 inch screen that has Quad HD (2560x1440 pixels) resolution. It is powered by the Snapdragon 820 processor and 4 GB RAM. A 2600 mAh battery and a 13 megapixel rear camera that has F1.8 aperture, optical image stabilization and laser auto focus.
The Moto Z comes in 32 GB and 64 GB internal storage versions and it also offers a 2 TB micro SD card slot. The Moto Z has a water repelling coating. Besides, it has NFC and fingerprint sensor. A 5 megapixel camera is in its front with wide angle lens. A flash light is also in the front for low light selfies. The Moto Z also comes with Turbo Power technology that claims to offer 8 hours of back up in just 15 minutes of charging and overall 30 hours of battery back up with full charge.
Moto Z Play comes with an aluminum frame and glass back. Moto Z Play promises up to 50 hours of battery life and is said to be Moto's longest-lasting battery ever. Getting on to the fast charging bandwagon, it has TurboPower charging feature that claims to charge it up to 9 hours in just 15 minutes.
Moto Z Play also offers a 2.0 GHz octa-core processor, 5.5 inch 1080p HD Super AMOLED display and 3GB RAM of memory (RAM). It has a 16MP laser autofocus camera, and has a wide-angle, front-facing camera with LED flash.
