Amazon India disables COD, Flipkart and Snapdeal restricts order up to Rs. 2000


[Update]- Swiggy and Uber have also stopped accepting Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes following the ban. E-commerce companies have taken measures following Government of India’s move to scrap Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes. Amazon India has disabled Cash on Delivery (COD) option for all the orders.

Meanwhile, Flipkart and Snapdeal have restricted the COD option for orders below Rs. 1000 and Rs. 2000 respectively. All these e-commerce companies are asking users to choose a different payment option. Moreover, Amazon and Flipkart have also mentioned that its delivery associates will not accept Rs.500 and Rs. 1000 notes.
