Xolo Black 1X gets Android Marshmallow update

Xolo has rolled out the Android Marshmallow update for the Black 1X smartphone in India. The update is available over the air and will require 1.2GB free space to upgrade.
To get going with the upgrade process:

• Alternatively, user can also select "Check for updates"
• Software update notification window will appear with details of the update.
• Click "OK" to download the update package.
• Once download done, Click the option of "Install update"

The Xolo Black 1X smartphone was launched in India last year for Rs 9,999. However, the smartphone is now retailing at Rs 7,999 on Snapdeal.

The Xolo Black 1X has a 5 inch full HD On-Cell display sporting 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution with Dragon trail Glass protection. The smartphone is armed with the 1.3GHz octa core 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 processor which is clubbed with Mali-T720 GPU. Xolo Black 1X has two SIM slots.
For storage, the Xolo Black 1X offers 3GB RAM, 32 GB of built-in storage and expandable micro SD card slot. This handset comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 megapixel front camera. The smartphone offers 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, A-GPS and a micro USB port. Moreover, there is a 2400 mAh battery in the Xolo Black 1X which measures 7.6 thickness with 125 grams weight.
